The Process - Timeline
Following the release of an initial Position Paper in July 2004, a formal consultation paper is planned by the Isle of Man Government. This is expected to contain proposed draft legislation based upon comments received from the space community in regards to the initial Position Paper. After further review from select members of the space community it is intended that this draft legislation be submitted to the Isle of Man Government and its Parliament, the Tynwald, for consideration.
It is proposed that the time frame for this be kept as short as practically possible and accordingly it is hoped that formal consultation document will be circulated in the the second half of 2004.
